On the Weekand

On the Weekend we went to my granddad’s house with my nana. We had a family party there last Saturday night . We had so  much fun at the party . In the morning all my family had breakfast. After that we went to Mission Bay to hav a picnic and a  swim.

At Ambury Farm

On Wednesday our literacy group went to Ambury Farm. We went with Mr Jacobsen, Mrs Slade and Mrs Tepania. When we got there fast we saw some cows. We saw them getting milked. Then we saw some pigs. The mother sow  was feeding them. After that we saw a rooster and some chickens and a chick.After that we saw a bull and some sheep and lambs.Then we saw pukeko and the baby pukeko too.

One day Maui and his brothers said that it was very dark Maui said, “The sun is going fast and we can make the sun go slow. We can catch it with ropes.” After that they went to the mountains and they hid in the hole. When the sun came up  Maui said, “Pull now!” The brothers jump on and they pulled the ropes and the sun said, “Let me go!”

They let it go. Then the sun went

much slower. Maui was happy.

Aladdin and the magic Lamp

Once upon time there was a Magic Lamp. It was under the ground. Aladdin’s uncle told him to get the Magic Lamp from under the ground.He got the Lamp but he kept it and the magician got angry.He rubbed a ring and a genie came and Aladdin said, “Take me home." And he did.

His mother rubbed the old lamp and a genie came.

The genie make them rich. Aladdin married princess and they lived happily ever after.

Rangi and Papa

Once upon a time there were Rangi and Papa. They had lots of children. Six of them didn’t like the dark. Tane pushed them away

with his legs. Light came in and they were happy.
